400 SE - Propshaft
Discussion
Hi all...Needed to replace my propsaft u/j and managed to get hold of a replacement shaft with new ones attached. I foolishly thought this would be straight forward job for a couple of hours!
After many hours of dexterity testing,:rage: how do you get it out without having to dismantle the diff mount or move the engine and gearbox then?

I agree with Paul, it's just a case of wiggling and playing with it until it comes out
, then the fun really starts when you try to remember how it came out so you can get the new one in
Seriously though Chris, if you need a hand, drop me a line and I'll be more than happy to pop over and help.

Yes it only comes out one way. If I remember correctly, to the rear on the passenger side.
Get a piece of chalk.
When it is half-way out MARK THE APERTURE YOU GOT IT OUT FROM.
Last time I did this, it took me an hour to get it out, and two hours trying different ways to get it back into the transmission area!
