Car ins / why the difference?

I had a car repaired with loyds about a couple months ago , repairer requested pics , took apx month to pick up car & bring courtesy car ( by repairer) , closest garage was 2 miles away
This time ( still Lloyds) , enterprise rent a car are dropping courtesy car off in morning ,picking yours up & delivering to repairers, no pictures ,car is perfectly driveable . Nearest garage apx 30 miles away .
Have Lloyds been sold , seems a totally different way of dealing with ins claims for a couple of months gap in claims .
