Just thought I’d share as I’ve got it running just in time for the good weather.
I still have some tidying to do, probably going to get the manifolds ceramic coated and have an oil cooler and oil accumulator to fit but for now I just want to drive it

Love it! bounce

Tight for space I imagine. Turbos have the flexibility of almost being placed and plumbed anywhere. There must be some interesting heat management hurdles to overcome.

My perfect power plant would have a whining supercharger but they always look harder to package.

Well done and enjoy!

The heat is managed by this bad boy, its a 3" core with twin 13" spal fans, and two otter switches,
It's actually running slightly too cold with a 74 deg stat but I'm going to wait till the weather warms up a bit before doing any changes

That’s gonna add some weight, joking. It’ll add a few kg at best. Might even help turn in at higher speeds. It all looks great.
What extra capacity actually is it.
Is this a first?
Seems like an obvious solution considering the state of tune.
What sort of hp does it have and well done.

The core is 76mm, the end tanks are 80mm x 34mm I’ve got a pre serp swirl pot,so no expansion tank. at a guess I have less coolant in the whole system but the radiator is more than double the efficiency of the original tvr rad.
HP wise I’m aiming for 550 but I haven’t put it on the dyno yet as I’m just running it in.

If this extra efficiency and oil cooler can keep the oil temps in check you’ll have cracked it I reckon.
550 is a good number.
Have fun. Inspiring for those on a long road of transformation or restoration.
Chassis coating looks very nice.
