Buying £50k+ car privately

I am looking at buying a used GLE from a private seller.

Stil has 6 months left of manufacturer's warranty.

Other than doing an AA or RAC check and a HPI check. Anything else I need to do or be wary of please?

As above VCheck rather than HPI.

Work out how you are going to transfer funds to them in a risk-free way (for both of you).

Make sure you check whether it has outstanding finance on it (which may change how you have to pay for it).
