MiRider One e-bike

Hi. I was searching for info about the MiRider One e-bike however the one & only post about it is a few years old now.
I've been thinking about buying one of these as it's so easy to chuck in the boot of the car & take out for a ride when I feel like it. Previous bikes I've owned have always required wheels off to fit in the car or the use of a roof-rack, so there's something appealing about being able to easily & discreetly transport it and simply unfold it at the other end.
Lots of the online reviews are very positive but I noticed a few months ago that MiRider were touting for influencers to help them promote their bikes online.... presumably in exchange for freebies/discounts.
Do any of you own one & up for sharing a few words about what you think of it?

Then on YouTube someone I watch has said he had problems, and you're effectively on your own. I looked at the trustpilot reviews and sure enough they were a majority of one star, saying don't waste your money, yet most of these influencers were saying they were great bikes!
I get your point but MiRider is UK based (Warrington or Wigan I think). They assemble the bikes here though I'm sure the parts, like most bikes, largely originate from China.
I test-rode both their One model & the GB3 (though more a spin round 2 blocks than a proper test-ride) & thought the One was decent enough but the GB3 was cracking.... both were head & shoulders above the Halfords folder I tried.
Just interested in opinions from anyone on here who owns one, particularly reliability & range.

I haven't used one but checking their dealer/service locator my local one is in Alpine Bikes a mainstream dealer. So at least there is warranty backup without needing to arrange courier or travel vast distances.

It is single speed so, as the say, suitable for short flat commutes. I wouldn't buy one because I am 17 stone and Glasgow is a hilly city. For lighter riders and flatter terrain it looks worth a try if you have a local dealer.
