hello all,

just been looking at some classified ads and noticed that the prices for nice 308's is ridiculously tempting right now. i have always liked this model but i feel torn between a good 308 or a newer 328.
i have been out in a 328 and i loved it, but what is the 308 like in comparison are they as quick? and do they feel any different?
i wouldn't mind owning any one of these models somewhere down the line i would be interested to hear what you think?
cheers.

Purely from a looks perspective, I prefer the purity of the 308. It has nicer toggle switches inside, too

For a 15-25k you can treat yourself on a nice Rari. But - but - servicecosts are more than for the Vauxhall . . .

Love 'em . . .

Not very inspiring for a rrari' though is it,
always made me think they were sharing design cues from 70's BL not sure why I said that, although....

No?
OK i'll get it me'self then

The 328 is no doubt faster and perhaps better in most respects, but I concur with Twin Turbo on the 308...which is why I bought one .

My 308 isn't spectacularly fast but it doesn't disappoint in the feel of the controls, its handling, sheer nimbleness and of course the smile it puts on my face whenever I approach it, from whatever angle.

Oh and did I mention the noise? I've recently fitted a Quicksilver exhaust and it is superb

Don't forget the 348s, they are superb value, and can be got from the mid-late £20Ks.
