Anyone have/ran/owned one?

Eldest daughter keeps papping on about them.

They seem to be 1.5 Auto - is that CVT or TC type?

Would anyone recommend?

TIA

Think you got UK cars? I love them. Daihatsu Materia another option, or maybe Kia Soul?

I've got one, it's a 1.5 CVT as they all are with the import Z12. Mine's the Rider model so body kit, different interior etc. it's a great run around, does everything you need with no excitement or drama and cheap to run. I bought it for a winter hack and actually really like it!

They're grey import only, I've seen a few go through classic auctions. They look cute in a Postman Pat sort of way, running gear is Nissan Micra so that shouldn't be an issue. Only having a D pillar on the o/s and glass on the n/s is distinctive, the rear door open outwards hinged at the side. smile

That one above is a later model, post 2009.

Thanks for the replies

I'd read there were two gearbox options - conventional and CVT, but from your comment that's not true.

What's the CVT like?

What type of fuel economy do you get?

No they`re not. Nissan GB sold them for 2 years in the UK.
They were 1.6 petrols and mostly manuals.
Hardly sold though any as they were stupidly expensive. Mainly white Kaizen models.

I stand corrected, I'd never seen an original UK model one. smile

The Z11 model had 1.4 and 1.5 engines, the 1.5 is CVT, the 1.4 is Auto. I had a Neo Classic Z11 years ago, to be honest the Z12 is so much better all round, it drives so much nicer than the Z11.
