Sold an xbox on ebay. Send invoice buyer says will pay on the 28th. Advise doesn't work like that, 9 days. Says they know, send a copy of ebay terms. now have to wait to relist without more charges.

Sold my car, no contact, then say can collect. send postcode, ''wow didn't know''. Advised it is in the title. Why do idiots end up on ebay?

Selling anything valuable on eBay is not worth it

I have advertised cars and the like on there with my phone number tucked away so bright people can work it out

Facebook and gumtree work well, but you are always going to get clowns

Never post anything of value

Yes, eBay can be tremendously frustrating these days. I listed a BMW 330 coupe on there a couple of years ago and had to deal almost exclusively with complete timewasters.

It actually sold through Facebook in the end.

It's not progress is it? Back in the day you placed an AutoTrader advert and anyone interested had to make the effort of travelling to inspect and make a decision. It was frustrating when someone phoned 6 weeks later and asked if it was sold but nothing compared to ebay nonsense.
