Previous to that the Sunday two weeks before.......... they'd lost 0.5 psi

I think I've got a slow leak............

It really annoys me every time I check them they've lost pressure yet if I don't check them they lose nothing biggrin

Last week. I have a very slow leak in my front passenger side tyre. The TPMS on the car flags up on the dash when a tyre has lost 10psi from its saved psi load.

I dragged one of my cars out of hibernation a few weekends ago, blew the tyres up before parking it up last September/October, in my excitement I forgot to check them before its first run out.... And the second....

Been a few months since I did them on the daily too, but I hate that piece of st and it should think itself lucky I haven't driven into the ditch where it belongs.

10psi ? That’s a big drop! Mine registers when there is something like a 3 psi drop. I guess mine must calculate when that drop is a different drop to what the other tyres are experiencing, so the system takes into account an external temperature drop and also accounts for the overall warming up of all tyres.
Other than that, I frequently call up the display to see what they are showing, or adjust by season.

When the car tells me to. If I'm sat waiting for Mrs Ezra (sadly, only too regularly) I might get bored, play around with the tech and see what the pressure is for each tyre, but to physically check the pressure? Can't remember - ages ago.

At least once every two weeks. Tyres are such important things FFS; they deserve a bit more care and attention.

Slow puncture? Get it fixed!

Neither have I. It’s raining outside.

Don't forget when the clocks go forward 1 hour to change the air to summer air.

Thanks for the reminder. I wrap my tyre inflator in a muslin cloth to filter out the pollen which would otherwise get into the tyre and sprout inside the tyre despite the lack of sunlight.

I'm always doing tyres because we have quite a few vehicles. Did the Evora on Friday and the van Monday.

This wireless inflator is an absolute godsend. No more pissing about running wired inflators through the car then having to pass through to the other side and ensure the ignition is on and and and. Highly recommend.

Agree with a wireless inflator. The wireless inflators of yesteryear relying on NiCad batteries were poor and you couldn't store them in the car, because when you needed to use it, the battery would be flat. The latest Li-Ion have far less of a drain. I have 3 of these and use it for the weekly checks:

So small that I have one for each car. I rotate their use each week and charge it afterwards.

Bike - every time I go for a proper ride on it. Pressures should be 31/36 but they can be 10pm down if it hasn’t been ridden for a while.

Car - every couple of months, doesn’t seem to be affected.

I part own a garage and do a lot of test drives as a result. I installed a small compressor specifically to check Tyre pressures prior to any test drive as it seems 90% of people never check and hence ‘my car drives funny’.

Had one just yesterday where the front right was 42psi and back left 18psi, other 2 somewhere in the middle. Should have been 35f/36r. This is far from uncommon.

One car often looks a bit flat to me, but everytime I check them, they are as the handbook says.

My other car tells me what they are as soon as I've driven a few hundred yards. They are also supposed to be filled with nitrogen, but I just use 78% nitrogen instead.

Couple of days ago, I set a recurring reminder in my phone to check oil and tyres on the cars once a month. Both have tpms but I like to manual check too.
