4-part drama on Mon to Thu at 9pm.

Excellent cast, Jason Watkins, Claire Skinner & Jonas Armstrong therefore it promised so much.

2 episodes in and to say it's disappointing is an understatement.

Agreed. Really looking forward to this as I love anything Jason watkins is in but gave up half way through the 2nd episode as script is dire.

Thats a shame, saw an advert for it and thought it looked good and was going to give it a go, but sounds like I will be wasting my time

Must admit I tried to watch through it and half way through the second episode I fell asleep and am not at all concerned to go back. I usual like stuff Jason is in but the script is hammy, the acting wooden and you could drive a bus through the plot.

However my main gripe currently is why was this series about a crime in a provisional English town filmed in Hungary? They must have shipped in English props and put up a cast of English actors for weeks. Is it really that much cheaper to film a UK series in Budapest?

Hungary offers much larger tax incentives for film productions than the UK.

Watkins must have the same agent as Toby Jones, fed up
of seeing their everyman spud faces in TV dramadocs

I persevered to the end and it actually got slightly better but not much.

Watched every episode. That’s 4 hours of my life I’ll never get back!
Quite predictable and barely credible.

Oh dear - it’s pretty awful.
Rubbish script, wooden acting, implausible scenarios.
Onto episode 2 and it’s on the point of throwing the towel in.
And yes you know it’s not the UK - strange car registrations, spotless modern hospital, contemporary design houses (rather than the typical “brain dead” no thought about design volume new housing in the UK).
Don’t waste your time!
