Hey, first few days of ownership.
Washed the car today with a hose pipe and now it wont start, starter turns over so battery not dead just doesnt spark.
is it just a case of pulling all the plugs out and drying them and spraying with wd40? or are there any other places i need to dry out.
or do you just think i should leave her to dry out for a day.
help...lol its sunny and i want to drive!

Hang on... you used a hosepipe at the vents near the windscreen????
Serves you right!
Its naked under there, NEVER hose it at the vents!
Its like some chap a few years ago decided to take his cerbie through a car wash!!!!
needless to say, it took a few lads to push her out of there and then winched up onto the back of a lowloader! He never came back here, he must have sold her on not being content with handwashing!

haha , i learned my lesson on that one.
Had to take the air intake out and wd40 all the plugs.
also the battery was almost flat--so need a trickle charger.
when re-assembling i neglected to route the washer cable away from the exhaust pipe comming off the engine.
nice melted mess there.
Glad it all happened really-- because i found that losts of screws/bolts were missing and some of the purple pipes had come loose.
so-- does anyone know the part number of the washer cable that joins the T ?
