any amazon pro's here?

I purchased some car number plates , they've arrived with loads of defects /bubbles etc , worse than my old ones lol

as they're custom made it isn't a simple return and I'm getting messed around by the seller , send pics , how about 20% off

is there a way to escalate to amazon themselves and get this sorted , all seems to be automated chat

Get onto the online chat with a real person. They seem so keen to get rid of you, you'll get a refund offered almost straight away. I regularly do this as they are forever delivering our orders to a neighbour who will keep them for days.

i just get robo chat ? it asks whats up and i say return ,. then it says no cannot return and so on , live chat would be ideal

With some chat-bots you can type "agent" and itll fire you through to a real person - not sure if amazons is like that.

ok sussed it ...need to click "something else" when using the contact us thing , straight through to a chat and refunded no probs

I've never had any problems returning stuff. It's the main/only reason I still use them, that they make it as easy as buying.

Just yesterday a vacuum bust after 11 months, the chat bot/person booked a ups who came next day

yeah i dont use them much tbh

the seller was trying to hide behind its custom made so no refunds , yeah well try not sending out cr*p then

Buying from the sellers on Amazon is no go for me nowadays, for just this reason. I had weeks of run around on a £1500 monitor, and countless calls to finally receive a refund on it. Since, I refuse to use the service if it’s a seller account.

No issues returning to Amazon directly.
