Just to say thanks to Rich and everyone else who helped in the organising of this fantastic weekend  . Enjoyed the drive on saturday, the company and the :drink: at night.

The convoy today through york was absolutely brilliant:D, having the other traffic stopped to let us through felt great and we all turned heads. Castle Howard was also a good setting for the gathering, with the collection of trade stands, archery and the competitions.

This event gets a big  from me.

Must add my thanks and congratulations to Rich and the team for delivering a great & well organised event.

Fantastic runs-out on Sat - great route (only dampener was the iffy weather - which was OK 'cos we knew there was someone else up front getting wetter than us ), perfect lunch stop and of course good company.
I don't care what anyone else says, if you followed the map provided (thanks Nav/Leisl!) you could enjoy the Oliver's Mount laps without the additional road & u-turn sections!

Good chance to have a few beers & chew the fat with the wide cross section of members present on the Sat eve closed the day off nicely.

Today's rumble through York was excellent , as was the run from York to Castle Howard (Thanks BIG VRM); parking at the Castle in model order was great again gave a good chance for tyre kicking and comparisons.

Thanks to all concerned for a great event! Those who missed it - missed a grand couple of days out!

Thanks to Rich and everyone else who organised a great weekend. Unfortunately had to miss the meet at Castle Howard but the city rumble was excellent. Saw quite a few smiles as we went passed and we were 4th. Must have been a jaw dropping sight by the time the last one went through.

Heres a shot of 'crowd reaction'. Not bad for a six year old.

Excellent gathering at Castle Howard, glad to see that you TVR types are as friendly as the Porsche crowd.

My 15 month old lad would like to thank those of you who let him mug your dogs, steal you kids toys (Big Vrm) and appologies for rogue finger prints. Not sure which bit he enjoyed most, but we had a good day out.

Shame there weren't some more non TVR types there though.

Rich,

Thanks for a great weekend. Rachel and I enjoyed following you Saturday afternoon and despite the rain, it was one of the best ways I've burnt half a tank of petrol in a while!

Saturday night was good and Sunday morning arrived too quickly. The short rumble thorugh York was brillant, despite missing the turning for the Race Course. Gathering at Castle Howard was fantastic and the mug is being put to use now.

Again thanks to you and your band of helpers.

Hi Rich........

Bit late posting up thanks as we had another day to take it easy on the way back to the White Stilletto County, passing through the Lincolnshire Wolds.

As always,it was a great weekend mate

Hugely successful and enjoyed by all as a result of all the bloody hard work that went into the organising of it.

It is a super National TVRcc event..... put me down for next year.....

Although.....if there are more cars next year for the City Rumble.....me thinks you're going to have to find a bigger meet place....cos that circle was choc full of Blackpool's finest...and what a brilliant sight it made too...........

I'm saying absolutely nothing about the crossroads at Foxhole..............I was misled at the time......

Absolutely superb weekend from start to finish.
Well done Rich and everyone else involved.
We really enjoyed run 3 even though it did rain a bit and the meal at Ravenscar was excellent.
We enjoyed the 3 laps round Olivers Mount even though we did try to go round the first hairpin backwards
The rumble through York was well organised and we are proud to have been part of it, the looks on peoples faces as 100 TVR'S went past was a sight to behold.
The gathering at Castle Howard was a superb, well organised ending to a great weekend.

Well done to Rich and the team.
Great weekend especially on the Sunday rumbling through York. Saturday was good but unfortunate with the weather - can't be blamed on Rich. Would have been spectacular if had been dry.
Just managed to limp to get some Optimax on teh way home afer using 3/4 of a tank Saturday and not having the sense to fill up on Sunday morning.

Another note of thanks regarding BNG.

A superb weekend and well worth the drive up from Suffolk to attend. Drive 3 was great, even if the weather didn't let us get the full experience of the views. [Rich, as hinted at by Pauline some of the directions were a little obscure for those of us without local knowledge. If you want any "foreigners" to test them out for next year just let us know ]

Sunday was good too, both in York and out at Castle Howard.

Having stayed on for a couple of days in Harrogate we do feel sorry for you about the weather as it improved so much on Monday and Tuesday. Still everyone seemed to enjoy themselves as it was.

Count us in for next year.
