Cars that are naff now that will become cool.....
Discussion
Following cars, as we all have over the years we have seen values come and go.
Due to fashion, chav-abuse etc there have been cars that were once sought after suddenly plummet in value then all of a sudden regain premium values!
Example, I had a Mk2 RS2000 Custom, when I sold it in the early nineties it was worth naff all, now try and buya decent one for under £5k - hard job!
What cars do you think have the wrong image currently but clean sought after examples will command a price in years to come.
For starters can I suggest....
Renault 5 GT Turbo
E30 325I Sport
Escort RS1600I
Suzuki Swift GTI
Fiat Cinqucento Sporting
...what else?

BMW E36 coupe - Loads of scrotes lowering them, chav exhausts, tinted windows etc etc... Complete ruination of decent cars.
A good original 328i Sport kept original will be a very sought after car
Although not a Bimmer fan (to put it mildly) - I must agree with this - a good choice and an inverstment for some?

Ahhh GT Turbo happy days of youth, these could be cool/ rare as they either a) got crashed or b) rusted out.
Back when I was 21 I sought out a genuine one lady owner example, it was only four years old with obviously no mods. This car has to have been the the most problematic and costly car i have ever owned!
Yet, I still look back on it with fond memories, especially as it still got boost in reverse!!!

OK, OK - I did cock up but I was never wrong.
There was a Renault 19 Turbo. For sure. It happened to be diesel but it was a legitimate Renault 19 with a blower.
I originally meant to type 16v, of course. But the JD turns valves into turbo's doesn't it??
ETA - Well done beardster.
