Lib Dems win general election and promise to privatise Post

Not exactly surprising as that was the reason given for calling the general election.
The post office in Japan is a massive financial institution; historically it has been used to funnel cheap money to favoured industries.
the Prime Minister's attempt to privatise it was blocked by a faction of his own party. He then called a general election and deselected the Mp's involved.
Perhaps Japan's decade long recession is nearing the end. If the have the will to implement the necessary economic reforms I am sure economic growth will take off.
