LEVEN CUSTOMER SERVICE
Discussion
My recently bought Griff is back at the dealers having some minor niggles sorted. Having seen a newer one with all the leven gear - stalks, h/brake etc Ive asked them to order me some stuff and fit it whilst it's in (I know it's not difficult to DIY). I enquired about having aluminium rims on the dash in place of my black ones but the dealers thought you had to replace the lot. Having gone onto the Leven site I sent an email only half expecting an automated response. Imagine my surprise when a chap called Simon mailed me back with an update on their planned new products (metal dash/rims). The reason I am posting this is that it seems all to rare that companies these days even respond - particularly when any sale to me is worth only a few quid. I assume most of you PH'ers have knowledge of Leven - being new to the site I don't - but they have another new customer that they will keep now. I'm not on a retainer but on this evidence alone I would not hesitate to reccommend them (although I suppose there arent that many tvr accessory firms anyway!!)
I had a problem with one of their petrol caps when the bloody thing wouldn't undo whilst I was parked next to the pump with a big queue behind me and I had to sneak off to a corner of the forecourt and eat some spinach to be able to undo it.
I sent them an email and got a reply by phone!!
A few minutes later and it was all sorted out.
Good old Leven. A bit of direct customer contact works wonders nowadays. Any other bits they're coming out with that you know of?

I would unhesitatingly recommend Leven Technology for their products and customer care over the past two years. I've had several parts off them for my Griff including column stalks and cigarette lighter cover. I've also had replacement steel pedals and had a lot of assistance from Simon on fitting etc. Without doubt one of the best and 'nicest' companies I've ever had to deal with for anything.....ever...shouldn't overlook Julie in the office too!!!! They thoroughly deserve to do well.
Absolutely agree with all comments. I had several phone conversations with Simon about their adjustable pedals and he was very patient in discerning my doubts of fitting them to a LHD car. I was feeling really bad in the end when I did not purchase them (my dealer adjusted the accelerator pedal the hard way, i.e. he bent it). I have all their aluminium stuff though and am extremely happy.
Cheers!
