Hi

As you may know or may not know that this year marks 20 years of Wedgefest, I was honoured with running it for 7 years where I upped the game and added some spice from celebrating the 70th anniversary of TVR with over 100 TVR's where Martin Lilley came up to me to shake my hand and tell me that it is the best event he has ever been to..smile to transport museums, race tracks and stately homes, we have raised over 9k for needy causes ..it took me a couple of years to get Oliver Winterbottom to come to the fest but he loved coming and was blown away by how much we love them, sadly he is no longer with us but will always be the Godfather of Wedges, I handed the event over to Blackpool Thunder in 2021 as I felt I had done all I could, I have missed the last couple and was forced to sell the 350i due to ULEZ etc...but...I have bought Delilah back who is now tax & ULEZ exempt...just need to get her back on the road after the years of abuse from morons.

So this year as an attendee I have a plan and would like the originators of the event there to say thank you, I am already in touch with Alan but need to find Nigel & Karen, so if anyone knows them or how to contact them please get in touch, oh and try to make it this year, please look on the Blackpool Thunder car club website for details or message me...its the weekend of the 7th-9th June.

Lets do it..

Cheers

I'll be there as usual Mark. 10th anniversary for me. Would be good to see as many Wedges as possible. Will the organisers be posting on the PH events and the many Wedge FB groups? Hope you get your finger out and get Delilah up and running. Cheers

Hi Keith

Not sure about what the organisers are doing as I cut all ties with organising as such but would like to pay homage to those who created the event in the beginning..yep...hopefully get Delilah there...if I can find the parts I need...smile

Now then Mr. Z... long time no see.

I still remember Mike Bressington at the first 'fest, bouncing like a kid on a sugar rush...[Welsh] I caan't believe it's reeally 'appenin![/Welsh]

I may or may not make it as it's very close to our annual bike Euro-hoon and what with P&O trebling their fares and Herr Merkel (or whoever's in charge in Frogland these days) determined to take us for every pfennig, cent, drachma and lire they can it gets a bit spendy.
