Just trying to sort parking for 12 days in October. I need to drop the car at 4am and pick up at 1am, sounds like some of the off airport parking sites don't run buses at that time and you have to wait a long time for the official ones. The mid stay price is only £8 less than this meet and greet that looks like it is official. Would anyone who has used it recommend? Heard horror stories about cars being stored in Braintree. Stansted is a rip off for parking!

My 200 quid for the week at Heathrow now seems ridiculous.

That's the official Stanstead Meet and Greet and it's a perfectly good service. Drop it off by the terminal, car is photographed from all angles as you enter so no arguments if it gets damaged. They move it off to one of their own remote car parks and bring it back for your arrival.

The Braintree story is one of the 'Independant' meet and greet services (aka cowboys) who just go and park it on a residential street somewhere. Sometimes they forget where it is.

Was going to say Heathrow is much worse. We got the train to the airport last year. Super quick from Reading and didnt have to pay the £350 for 2 weeks parking!

Thanks Otherman, you have given me the confidence to book now. Still have to pay the £7 to get out the car park I suspect.

We flew from Stansted in February and parked in the Yellow car park, it took us 10 minutes from getting out of the car to standing in the check in que.

Nobody seems to be quoting for Yellow, I ended up plumping for the Jetpark long stay. It was £40 cheaper when you add in the car park fee. Thanks for everyone's help.

As otherman said, always use the OFFICIAL Stanstead parking site. I’ve used them before no problem, going again next month. I used the multi story green, keep your keys, short covered walk to the terminal.
You can cancel, alter, upgrade at any time.

Not much help to you but, some years ago had a long weekend in Milan with GF (which according to Ryan aer is only some 40 minute train ride outside of Slovakia)… coming back flight was delayed the car was in the regular shuttle bus car park.. now it’s about midnight pissing with rain, crowded bus dropping off at various areas then only me and GF and another couple (not with us) left on bus. …”so when you going to stop B2? “ driver “Been there” No you haven’t etc., me and other guy did the right thing after trying not to slap the driver. Left the girls in the bus shelter and ran through the rain to find our cars. Asses..haven’t been since not really worth it taking everything into account

I'd bite your hand off for 88 quid for 10 days, I'm going away in September for 5 days and Gatwick want £102 for 5 days in long stay or £149 in short. Even transfer services like APH want £99.

I was expecting some wild price as well. We’re paying just over £200 for 2 weeks official meet and greet at Heathrow next week.

I'd be very happy with that too. Last couple of times I have parked at Heathrow or Gatwick for a week with Purple Parking even with a discount code it has been £110+ a week.

I live 30 minutes away, even an Uber is £50+ each way.

£8/day expensive??!

What would you class as “cheap” or “reasonable”

I would suggest that’s exceptionally well priced - I paid £122 for 7 days M&G at stansted in January and that was a bargain given it’s a London airport.

I’ve managed to snag a deal at Glasgow in the summer holidays for £90 for their M&G for 11 days which feels like very good value even though it’s in Scotland.

As an aside I’ve used stansted M&G a few times without any issue or barely any distance being put on the car too.

That’s cheap. £114 for 7 days official meet n greet at Manchester last month.
Try going via top cash back - you might save a few quid, almost enough for a kitkat on the plane.

The only time I’ve had a car damaged by airport parking was by Stansted meet and greet. A horrid way to finish a holiday. And they tried to deny it. I’ll never use them again!
