Can anyone out there repair an old Megaquarts watch ,or do they have to be sent back to Omega?

Hmmn, 1310 movement? That depends what's wrong with it.
You could try the likes of STS but I don't hold out much hope.

There's a guy in the States who winds replacement coils for watches - if that's the issue. His name is Chris Radek, he trades as the Time Guy.

Other places you could try are Croydon watch centre, Electric Avenue and Unwind in Time. The last two are State side, and they're really electric watch specialists, rather than quartz repairers.

Good luck. My first 1310 is currently stuck in customs, quite excited to get it. Hmmn that's a thought. My watch was restored by a place in Poland. Omikron Vintage watch restoration. https://ovwr.pl/ Knowing that they've worked on a 1310 in the last five months it might be worth reaching out.

Not sure if of any use as I know nothing about the megaquarts but this guy mends the Bulova/ Universal Geneve/ omega electronic movements. If not he might have an idea of someone to help.

Paul used to work on them, but if you look closely at his website he no longer does.
