In car entertainment systems?

Can anyone please give me some advice.
Just bought a new car and want to put a system in the back to keep three kids entertained.
Most systems, that strap between the two front seats, seem to come with a single headphone output, along with a two into one adapter, so that you can use two headphones.
Since I've got three kids, is there a way to use three headphones or is it a case of two systems with two kids sharing one?
I know what I'm trying to say - but I'm not sure that I've explained it correctly.
