I don't know much about the jewellers in Hatton Gardens, are there many that are long standing and more reputable than others to purchase from?

In the near future my wife and I will be celebrating an event, and we'd like to mark it with a piece of jewellery each. Mine is taken care of, but the wifes is yet to be decided, but will no doubt involve a diamond. I like the idea of visiting London and buying from Hatton Gardens, so if you were to go there and hand over say £5k, which of the jewellers would you choose?

About 15 years ago my partner and I spent a day in Hatton Garden. All the new jewellery didn’t appeal to us. I bought her an antique ring from https://www.berganza.com/, spending an amount similar to you.

We bought my wife's engagement ring in Hatton Garden (not Gardens) in 1987 (as we both worked very close by). Got a great deal on a diamond and emerald ring made to my wife's drawing of what she wanted. Not sure what it's like today though.

I bought an engagement ring (which I didn't "use" in the end) from the diamond factory in Hatton garden. They were really good.

I picked one of their factory produced diamonds
