Lat week we used a firm called AnyVan to transport a vehicle from the top of the M25 to north Chesterfield. The cost was £368, which was a lot cheaper than the rest of the quotes I was getting.
The driver turned up around 10 minutes early. Was polite, courteous, professional and diligent. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again, or to recommend them to others.

My brother uses anyvan always worked well for him. The driver turned up around 10 minutes early. Was polite, courteous, professional and diligent. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again, or to recommend them to others.
https://www.car-mover.co.uk/ in Surrey. I used them before during the lockdown - recommended by BMW garage.
Beware of Shiply (and I assume anyvan operates the same way) they let anyone join.
Many haven't got the correct insurance and you are dealing with the person you hire not the company (shiply) If anything goes wrong
I had an issue with a delivery and Shiply couldn't have been less helpful - even when the Police were involved

Bit of a thread revival but just to answer the trailer question for anyone finding this through Google, with AnyVan you specify in the listing whether it needs to go on a flatbed/trailer or if trade-plate driven is fine.
Worth knowing if the car isn't running, doesn't have an MOT, or you just don't want extra miles on it. Used them for exactly that reason last year and the quotes ended up cheaper than the single-car haulier places, especially if you're not in a rush on dates.
