Only the one fuel pump relay chattering now!!

Hi guys,

Sorted the problem with the two fan relays chattering. Was being caused by the Temperature sensor as was i was told on my previous thread, thanks for the help guys.
But i've now got the identical problem with largest black relay(think its fuel pump??) on the board. Its chattering intermitently which is causing the car to stutter and jump. Anyone seen this fault before or have any ideas?

I am not technical so probably talking crap, but when my previous car stuttered and jumped it was diagnosed as the Lambda sensors. Just a thought.

Ditto the above. Without seeing the car it is difficult, but exactly the same thing happened to mine at exactly the same age. The stuttering sometimes gets quite bad. Would get it checked and whilst you are there get them to replace the other of the two lambda sensors as it is only a few quid more and will save you a trip back a few months later, as happened to me!

If you can actually hear the relay chattering that may be a symptom of the above rather than the stuttering being a symptom of the chattering if that makes sense!

I would get it checked out, whether it is a relay or lambda sensor it should be less than £100 and warrantyable if you have one.

Cheers guys/gals, will try the Lambda sensor first. Am quite a trec away from any dealers so will probably try and source the part from TVR gear myself.
