Hi John
I'd not heard of Alamy. Quite a few of us here sell via www.photobox.co.uk. (Which is not a stock library, but a place the host and photographer can each make some dosh)
I have to say I get requests almost every month or so asking me to sell my pics via various photo library websites (almost all US based). I tried it once, years back, and they turned out to be a bunch of complete to55ers - so I got out quick.
If alamy.com are sending any sort of contract, I'd read it very closely... If they are not, then I'd avoid like the plague.
All IMHO of course. I'm sure there are lots of lovely people out there with our best interests at heart

Alamy are a reputable and professional stock agency. They have pretty strict quality requirements, so make sure your files are properly prepared before sending your disc in. As with all stock agencies you will only make decent money if you have a large number of good images on the site, and keep adding fresh stock regularly.
