It’s October 1994, and has a great piece about the 993 Carrera 4.

Thank you! I remember reading an article which waxed poetic and had photos of the car in beautiful countryside with long and winding roads. Based on that picture you posted, that is probably it!

I went to the launch of the 993 in Spain in 1993 - and had two new 993s - both C2.

Few years after, bought a late pre-owned Varioram C4.
Interestingly it is still the only 911 variant that I feel is nicer in 4wd than 2wd.
