Car based pickups

I love a car - based pickup. Clearly spent too much time watching My Name Is Earl back in the day.

What do we have in this country that's relatively affordable? Ford P100 springs to mind, as well as Proton Jumbuck and Subaru Brat (if you can find one not dissolved). There has to be more than those, surely?

Wonder if a lowered mid 90's Hilux counts...

The sierras were a better drive , they had their own race series at one stage if I remember correctly ?

They were silhouette type racers, not real trucks.

Thank goodness nobody has mentioned the Marina & Ital pickups....

Conversions were available from companies like Walkers of regular light vans, Escort, Bedford HA etc.
