to be honest ive got loads but im trying not to irritate.:)
i dont know where they have all come from 'cos i never had this many with my cerb.
anyway how do you more experienced owners find driving along at moderate speed,say in traffic 40-50mph.
5th gear sometimes seems a bit 'grumpy' with a bit of a buzz from the running gear(felt this in a few i tested so i guess is normal?)but 4th gear would seem a bit 'revvy' especially if youve only just started on a cold engine.
with the cerb you often had to select the gear that would avoid the 1800-2000rpm stutter that many had, and so you got used to doing this but of course the tuscan should be smoother so im not quite sure.
any experiences/comments would be appreciated.
oh,one last thing,under the car beneath the gearbox area there is a round plastic ring/collar(ive not had a proper look yet)that is hanging down a bit on one side,any idea what this is?

Slow to moderate driving in traffic or just pootling around should not be a problem. Both my cars have been smooth and easily manageable through gears.
When you talk about the gears are you applying it to the moderate driving experience or driving in general.
If the former then you should not really be in 5th at 50mph. I generally dont go into 5th lower than around 60mph.
If you are talking generally about 5th then mine did start to go a bit clunky after about 16,000mls, but still perfectly useable. All other gears were fine, no whining or anything.
With rgds to the dangly thing, could you be referring to the battery charge lead? This is to be found close to the nearside front wheel. If not then sorry, I cant help.
