gt3 seat adjustment ?

Is it possible to adjust the Mk1 gt3 seat for height ?

I realise it's bolted in position, but are there lower bolt holes or any adjustment possible ? (like it is on a CSL)

Test drove one recently, and the steering wheel seemed too low for my liking.

I have heard that they can be adjusted by re-bolting as you said, but not sure if the new holes are there already, or need drilling.

I think Tim Chandler did something like this on his RS.

I find the wheel too high because the buckets are lower already

You can definitely get adjuster brackets to lower the seat further. Forgotten the make though.

Have you tried adjusting the steering wheel instead???

To adjust the height of the seat you would have to put in higher runners or get longer bolts and put the runners on spacers.

Did you get one in the end Dan ?...been looking back through posts and saw you kept looking at them, didn't find anything that said you'd finally got one though...

Check out www.bkauto.com; they make brackets that will lower the GT3 seat by an inch and allow retention of the factory sliders.

I had a set that I sold to Tim.

I got a GT3 RS. Absolutely loving it. No regrets despite having been a massive step up in the car price league.

Wish the wheel was a tad closer and lower though
