Anyone used the Classic car club
Discussion
I was thinking of joining this (Edinburgh branch).
www.classiccarclub.co.uk does anyone have any first hand experience of them or similar places, e.g. availability of cars, how strict they are on damage etc.
My thinking is after losing 6k in depreciation in a year on my current car, I could pay this lot 2k a year and use the Mrs's Cooper during the week for my 1.5 mile commute
then I could be driving an EVO 7 or an Aston Vantage on those weekends when I'm sober enough to drive.

I have been to the site in Leith (Edinburgh) and had a chat with the guys who run it.
They seem to be very good at the customer care side of things and some of the cars are great. They told me that they are looking to get a couple of TVR's for next year.
They have to be spot on re the damage/insurance issues because of public liability etc. I plan to hire 5 or 6 cars from them early in 2003. It's a client ent thing!!
