The new series is out in Australia on May 17th, not sure when it will get here or whether it will be on BBC or Paramount, but it's got a lot of the BBC Top Gear production crew involved, and it will be shown internationally.

I'm hoping it won't be and t becomes a success. The more car TV content the better as far as I'm concerned and I enjoy MCM so at least one of the presenters is a decent bloke.

Watched the first episode and it's kinda meh (until the end)
The presenters all seem to be trying too hard which has been the problem with every non-UK iteration of it in my opinion.

Here's hoping that, much like the beginning of the CHM era, they calm down, relax and beging to develop their own style and the programme grows with it.

The first few episodes of the CHM era are a poor reflection of what it eventually became (at its peak).

Not the first Aussie version - they tried one quite a few years ago that was pretty much a direct clone of the UK one but which just didn't quite work. Same as the original attempt at Top Gear USA which was also a clone, before they switched to a format based around the 'challenges' which worked a lot better.

Just finished the first episode...I thought it was good. The presenters seem to gel quite well. It was as obviously scripted as it always was...but it's OK.
Is it worth subscribing to Paramount for...no.
