I have eaten something at lunchtime which appears to have been heavily laden with garlic. This is unfortunate as I don't like it and also have an allergic reaction to it.

However, having done it, does anyone know of something which will make the taste go away? Cups of tea and mints don't seem to be having much effect.

This is a genuine suggestion; how about eating something with a very potent taste which you DO like, to kind of 'mask' it?!

I understand French vampires have much the same problem.

The blood vessels in my eyes start to rupture. It makes me look like a vampire, so maybe I am.

Shady, thanks for the suggestion. Do you have any spare which you could send round to Bishopsgate?

I hate garlic too. Why do all the sauces and most "stir-fry" type things from supermarkets ALWAYS have garlic in them?

I think reeking of Garlic is more anti-social than smoking too.

So there!

Good man.

We've also got a drinks evening tonight and I don't want to be breathing garlic all over everyone all night.

What, have they found garlic gives you cancer now? Unless they have, I think not...

Jeyes Fluid

Garlic is as equally repugnant as nicotine but I can tolerate garlic...just.

I also seem to be allergic to garlic - my tattoo flares up - true!

You'd hate me then. I eat it everyday and can usually smell it oozing from the pores of my skin.

I have no friends.

Quite the opposite, it probably cures cancer, it's extroidinarily good for you, if I ever start getting a cold I just eat a few cloves of raw garlic it stops it dead in its tracks, with the added benefit of noone going near you for a couple of days

Even germs hate garlic it seems
