Inside its nice but outside its fugly AF and no paint job is going to fix that. The yellow just detracts from the horrible bodywork.

Coach builder's plate shows an email address, which is a bit odd for a 1983 car ... ? Maybe it's a time machine as well.

It is staggeringly awful to look at. Cartoonishly bad. I love it.

Very impressed that someone found a way of making it look even worse by shoving after market parking sensors into the bumpers.

Colour aside the bodywork looks far better resolved on that than the C&C one.

Sold for £34,000 in 2018

and £24,000 in 2024.

Not the greatest of investments.

These big modern hand built Bentleys are always a bit stagnant when it comes to appreciation, but most do tend to hold their value or appreciate a little.

It was sold in 1983. it only went to the coachbuilders in circa 1998:

"The car was supplied new to Jersey via St Helier Garages , Rolls-Royce main dealers and was serviced by them until 1998. Upon leaving Jersey, it showed a milage of 33,000 total today 36,000 which is supported by the service book and MOT certificates

The following information was supplied by the vendor :

"It is very rare to find an early Mulsanne Turbo, it must be unique to find one in shooting break styling. Finished in mustard with claret. Color coded bumpers front and back, radiator shell painted with chrome grille. Fitted with Rolls Royce sports suspension.

When repatriated to the mainland it was sent to renowned coach builders Coway Ltd of West Horton, Lancashire. At which time they embarked on converting the car to a station wagon. At the same time the car was completely re-trimmed in best quality hide along with a new headlining incorporating a DVD player. All woodwork including the picnic trays have also been refurbished."

I thought about buying it last time it came up, with a view to respraying it. But it's not the happiest looking conversion and ultimately I felt there were more fulfilling ways to indulge my eccentricities.

To me that looks like the result of a RR Classic having an ill advised night in on the 5-star, with a Mercedes S124. Not a bad thing.
