Saw a hitherto unknown(to me anyway) Celica variant today, the 4S-ZR. Looked rather tasty in standard form.Any Celica buffs have any info on spec/differences, points of interest?

You sure it wasn't a ST183? Badged GT-R 4WS.

Active rear wheel steering.

I eat, live sleep and breathe the things, and the only ZR I know about is a Auzzie model (basically an ST I think).

If the imortal letters G,T & R ever occur in that order, in any situation I can't help making skyline *comparisons*
Definately badged as 4S ZR,which is why it struck me as an unusual.I guess it could be a rebadged-but why badge as an unheard of ? Elitism?

Mate had a 4ws one. Was just a 2.0 na, so not that quick, but my god it felt awful round corners. The arse flet like it was permanently slipping. I figured it must the the 4ws, but it either takles some gettign used to, or it is a hideous creation.

Yeah, they're all NA. I've only every driven one once, and didn't drive it hard as it wasn't mine.......
