rattling small flap thing on SLK "roof"

on the left and right of my slk (Mk3) there's a little flap that sticks up behind the headrests. It seems to be composed of 2 bits as the bit on the nearside flap came off and the flap then rattles around when the roof is up and there's a breeze or moving. I found the missing bit of plastic, clipped it back on and that sorted it.
Now the bit has fallen off again and its rattling in the breeze again. Pic below of the offending item missing its lower section. Anyone know how to fix properly? Thanks
