Freeview on PC?
Discussion
A Hauppauge Digital TV Tuner is what you need. You can get either USB or PCI versions. I've not used a USB one so can't tell you if they're any good but the PCI cards do the trick. I think the digital range are called Hauppauge Nova. I think £50 would be about the going rate for the card new.

yes, it can happen, but you will still need an ariel.
i belive that hauppage make pc adaptors that will do9 this, and there are others.
i think the hauppage NOVA-T does what you want but its £85 from www.amazon.co.uk

Instructions:
1)Remove arm band from said arm-band-mans arm
2) Place small pointy metal bit into wall socket.
3) Switch on wall socket
4) Hold onto metal buckle
Alternatively, any thin metal instrument would work, just as long as you hold on tight and push it right into the socket.
Problem sorted
Thats for your comment on biker banter, you d!ck

My graphics card atm has a port which fits an aerial. what if i plug it in there connect up to a normal freeview box then connect that up to the main house aerial..? would that work?
er... RTFM. Which model X600 is it..? Is it genuine ATI, or another make using the same chipset..?
Without knowing the actual card, I can't give answer. If it has a coax cable, saying TV input, then it will accept a freeview output / TV input via the coax source... it could of course be an FM antenna...
The alternative (as suggested) is a Hauppage (or even a lesser brand) Freeview PCI card or external (USB) box.

Maybe just try it? You seem to have enough energy to wind people up on here with your drivel and bad spelling, try using some of it to get off your arse ..?

its a Radean ATi x600 PCI-E...
Which sodding version..? XT, PRO, AIW..?
In the assumption it's an All-in-Wonder variant and has a coax then yes, connect it to a freeview box - as long as the freeview box transmits on the UHF coax scale, not just Scart (as per the Pioneer box).
As noted by ATI here - www.ati.com/products/radeonx600/aiwx600/features.html - it has...

Anything else? - or shall I just stick a broom up my ass and sweep up as I go..?
