Good work !

Intersting to note the weights of the GTC (940) v GTO-3R (1070) - Quite a difference..............

IMHO, the GTC will probably be a bit heavier in production clothes. They mentioned a need to address some 'safety' aspects. Wouldn't say what. Perhaps some rollbars behind the seats?

Could also be due to the weight of the 3R's extra soundproofing.

The lack of a roll-cage compared to the GTO is obviously a concern but i'm sure Lee and the team will come up with a suitable solution. Anyone know how they dealt with this in the original M10 ?

Next big problem is colour. I love the azure blue of my current car but often soft-tops look better in lighter colurs..............although NOT yellow

I think my elise in Azure is the nicest of all Elise colours. However, I may be tempted by Portifino blue for my new GTC - I love the GTO in it.

Agree on yellow - I've never liked it on any car (not even a ferrari)

have a look at the car on the right on the centre picture in overview2.jpg - it has it's tyre on the wrong way round! I hope it didn't leave the factory like that!

Well spotted Nathan.

CALLING ALL OWNERS OF PORTOFINO BLUE M12's. Please Check your rear ends...

Where have you ordered your M12 from Nathan? I've got a GTO-3R on order from Mole Valley, and only live round the corner from you!

Mole Valley as well, I haven't paid the second desopit and specced it yet as I am timing it so I have 1 years NCB again (big crash earlier this year), the insurance will kill me anyway as I am only 25..

Spec will probably be:

GTO-3
LSD from 3R
either Indigo or azure blue with black lue interior or Titanium with red seats

I am in Reading (lower earley if you know it?), when are you expecting delivery?

Mole V have verbally confirmed I'm on the list, official confirmation next week after the Motorshow ends. Will be going for Titanium, interior will be black & whatever-the-mrs-likes. Also, having seen the state of the STONE CHIPS on all Nobles/TVR's, I'm having Armourfend as well.

Anyone had experience of Armourfend? Is it worth the £400ish?

Nathan - I'm in Henley, so only 10 miles from you...

Armorfend looks TERRIBLE. I was going to have it done after my front clamshell went more white than blue after a track day at Silverstone. However having seen it on a TVR i'd save the money for an annual respray.........

What other options are there? Surely in the year 2002 there must be something that we can all do to protect our loved ones?

They just put any old wheels on them when building them so that they can roll them around the factory - probably had two left tyres on it !!! they are all checked before they leave - and road tested - so i think that would show up!
