Hello, new owner although I've been loitering about the Noble forum for some time (too long) as wanted to try a Noble since they came out. Bought fellow PH'rs well looked after Viper Grey M400.....Thanks Scott.

Anyway, just wondering on Scots owners experience of MV Turbos, which is nearest to me. Do they supply any type of courtesy car? They are in the middle of nowhere so transport back to Glasgow not good.

P.S. Has anyone mod'd the footrest? It's not much use being level with the clutch and too close to it also.

Had worries about this when I first bought the car (nice colour btw) but just got used to it; to date I've had no premature clutch wear.

Hi,

Welcome. I am from Aberdeen. Used John at MV Turbo's twice. His work is excellent.

I believe there will be some news from the factory soon with reference to us Scots...watch this space.

Hi, recognise your Radical from KH - have a great photo of it nibbling the back of wife's Jag the one time I had it on track!

MV Turbos not available at present - garage sold for re-development. Don't what John's future is with Noble. Had no courtesy car service. I am also Glasgow owner and hired from Enterprise in Dunfermline when using him for repairs.

My Noble is now with Murray Motor, Edinburgh who are supposed to be announced by now as Noble agents.

Thanks for the feedback guys. John at MV sounded excellent, pity to lose him.

Had an Elise and Exige so know Graham at MMC Edinburgh and met Gavin at MMC Lotus Glasgow recently. Will MMC Glasgow Lotus also service Nobles then? They are only 10 mins walk from my house. Very handy if so.

Sorry for any wife's car nibbling Brian - have seen your car at KH a couple of times and always meant to come over and harass you for Noble experiences.

Hope to meet you all soon at KH although not many trackdays left there this year. Off to Spa, F1 Ring and Nordschliefe in 2 weeks to make up for my lack of trackdays this year.

Not sure how MMC will handle Nobles but Gavin doubted that Glasgow will feature for servicing.

I'm looking at Exige myself as Noble has been chronically unreliable and has now been away 5 weeks yet again after stone holed radiator and caused overheating.

Newer Nobles including M400 seem much better bets but can't justify trading up - early depreciation horrendous - so you did the right thing buying used!

Brian, read about about your (and others) various reliability problems on the board a few times - not good and probably more patient than me. I'm hoping for some decent luck.

Re: Exige, that's my old S1 Exige (BRG) at MMC Glasgow now - sold it over 2 years ago but was a great car. Radical SR3 replaced it. Guess you may be looking at more refined (engine anyway) Mk2, which seems like a great package for road/track. Better interior/driving position than Noble too IMO. A used, private sale one around £25k seems a good proposition.

Brian,

R U the MMC test mule for Noble then? I need to pay them a wee visit for a couple of minor things so glad you got yours there first!
