Engine judder between 1500 - 2000 rpm
Discussion
Car is a 2013 Hyundai IX35 1.7 diesel with -88k miles.
Between 1500-2000 rpm, the cars judders/kangaroo's if you are not accelerating but maintaining a constant speed/rpm. There is no issue before 1500 or after 2000 rpm or while accelerating normally or at motorway speeds. Car is likely needing a new clutch soon, but not I'm sure if that is a symptom of the judder issue?
Just curious of people thoughts or suggestions to check out, before I give up and take it to a dealer.
Thanks for reading.

Similar symptoms here, it was the EGR valve sticking for me - it failed properly and felt like the turbo would not turn on and was gutless.
I gave it an Italian tune-up, it got everything hot enough and blew all the rubbish out, and the car has not had any EGR problems in the following 4 years. (I think)
