The man, the myth, the legend is at it again!!!
This time he's designing new wind deflectors for our cerbies!!!! All carbon and of course the highest-quality possible and still keeping costs down.
Allan said:
"The new deflectors will greatly reduce wind noise and also promote smoother air-flow around the cerbera, greatly reducing drag and permitting top speed runs with greater stability."
He also went on to say:
"I am also working on a new carbon battery cover tray (the one that goes up to the wipers) which will assist in flowing the air over the windscreen rather than directly blogging at the wipers. Those who have experienced their wipers lifting at high speeds no exactly what I'm on about. The new design will also help greatly in reducing drag and again promote smoother airflow over the cerbera's body."
I asked:
"Is this enough though?"
He replied:
"For most owners, yes. But, for those who live at the top edge of the speedometer will also benefit from my front lip extension which assists in stabilising the car at the front at higher speeds, if an owner took all three of these upgrades, high speed driving will never soak your pants again. I have already provided a lip upgrade to Craig (NOS cerbie owner) and his confidence has doubled-trippled and has reported the stability to be sensational to say the least."
Well there you have it chaps, I thought I'd mention this, just for a few bob your top-speed driving (on private roads of course!) can be seriously optimized and a greater sense of control be thrown in too, something the Cerbera needs hands-down without a doubt.
Allan will be at Cream and will be more than supportive to all owners who need questions answered on aerodynamics and drag reduction theory. The fact he is currently designing these bits is absolutely splendid for us owners who still find the aftermarket support limited to sports exhausts/wheels/induction pipe kits etc.

finally some areodynamic mods (make the 5.2^3 + runs much more stable. obviously depending on price, would be up for all 3 When would the wind deflectors go? I am guessing these would replace the carbon (?) strips now the door pillars?
Yes the deflectors replace the current pillar plates.
I have no idea about pricing, I wasnt advertising, just got the info before prime-time for fellow Pistonheaders, his prices arent about making oodles of profit, so its pretty much material/time/beers cost, I'll ask him next time I speak to him, the fact he owns a cerbie is pretty much the reason why he wants to help out whenever he gets an idea...
His recent price of £699+VAT for a carbon bonnet replacement was a stonking deal!!! (I'm telling ya, by the time he's finished, his whole cerbie will be carbon and probably his engine too!)
Best way is to contact him offline or make sure to turn up at Cream to see all these bits in action...
I'm even thinking of becoming a carbon guru, you can see it now, "Carbon Ash"

No seriously, though, I have been following the arrival of each of the new parts, and it will be great to get a close look at them.
