2 week European trip suggestions

Not sure yet if we are crossing the channel or getting the ferry from Portsmouth.
Basically looking to do some of the mountain passes around the Alps and some scenic drives.
Ideally we would like to do a loop so where not coming back the same way.

Open to suggestions on routes places to go and see and places to avoid.

Your choice of route to Geneva. Route des grandes alpes to the riviera. Follow it round to cinque terre. Florence, bologna, garda, then up and out through Germany

Boat to Santander, drive through Pyrennes, then to Alps, then home via the 'ring.

Chunnel, Colmar 2 days, Lake Como 2 days (via Gotthard Pass), Sorrento 5 days, Sienna 2 days, Beaune 2 days - home.

In 2018 we did a 2 week trip around all of central Europe. Mix of city visiting and Alps driving.
