Hey all,

Fairly simple question. I know with the 2nd gen R8 V10 they introduced auxiliary fuel injection to stop the coking of the inlet valves, but assuming this was already sorted on the 2016 Huracan - what other improvements did the make between the 2016 and 2019 models?

Biggest change was the introducing of LVDI.

I had a 2014 610-4 and now a 2018 Perf so can try from those dates:
- drinks holder
- cylinder shut off in auto on strada
- better res reverse cam (only slightly)
- smaller and fixed arm rest
- Apple CarPlay
- better finishing/interior quality for out

Thanks. Did you feel the performante added much in terms of driving dynamics?

Hi, I owned a couple of earlier 610-4’s a coupe and a Spyder. Whilst having a service done in Edinburgh I had a loan of a Peformante for a couple of days. Dynamically it felt quite a bit sharper and the aero did seem to benefit the grip and handling. However, the biggest difference was exhaust note, especially at motorway speeds. It’s a bit marmite, I liked it but my other half said she couldn’t live with it on a longer journey. So I guess it depends on how you plan to use it. Hope this helps.

Yes definitely different cars and the variance from a GT3 to an RS variant is how I remember describing how it felt at the time I changed. I absolutely loved (and still love) the 610. The Perf is much more raw and a more uncompromising chassis. I like extreme versions of cars even for long journeys (had a 997.2 RS a while back) but others may prefer something less hardcore. The sound is much more extreme and I think the LDS is objectively better than the launch version that my 610 was. You can’t tell it’s there in the Perf ie more natural. But that may have been something post launch 610s had too. Corsa ratio is locked in the Perf.
