Dubai Artura Spyder Launch

I was graciously invited by the local McLaren dealership to the launch and monopolise a certain Peter from McLaren for about an hour.

I must say I thoroughly enjoy the whole episode, the explanations given around the airflow for example and how to deal with the metal roof covering the engine was quite an eye opener and I would like to point of the local Dubai team for their warmth. I just feel they are all a bunch of enthusiasts versus a very polished, but quite different, experience with the Roma’s launch and test drive event.

It is a pity the Artura is not being received as well, it does look fantastic in my eyes and I cannot wait to test it (the 2025 model year though).

Relatively, I don’t think the Artura is being received any worse than the 296 for Ferrari. (And don’t mention the SF90) The purists of each brand are (rightly IMO) sceptical of the hybrid aspect.

I had a look at one, they seem very very well made(fit and finish), compared to any other Mclaren or Ferrari etc.

I'm hoping the spiders depreciate like a stone
