2014 FType small bit of corrosion?

Hi,

I have what looks like a small bit of corrosion under the paint right next the boot lid.

Any ideas the best way to deal with this? The rubber seal wasn’t stuck down around that area so wonder if water has got in under the paint via a small chip or something.

What I am wondering is if that's original paint we are looking at or a quick " tart up " ? Obviously I know nothing of the Cars history but I have posted several times on here about the need to do your checks when buying these cars .
