Side Hustle Mentors (paid)

I’ve wanted to get a side hustle for ages, I’ve dabbled with a few things over the years but none have generated enough traction/money to keep me interested.
I have a decent job/decent salary so have some money to invest but conversely my time is relatively valuable so can’t get overly excited by making £20 profit a week by drop shipping or importing some tat from China
Question is - has anyone ever paid for a business/side hustle focused mentor programme?

I’m naturally cynical so my initial reaction is these type of things are sophisticated marketing schemes that don’t add much value
Anyone had any positive experiences with anything like this?

Anyone had any positive experiences with anything like this?
Just had a look at those two sites. To me, they smack of the old multi-level-marketing operations from the 80s and 90s - not so much the process more the way in which they promote themselves. Visual suggestions of the trappings of success that's available to you but where the reality is most often very different.
The best side hustles are those that emerge organically.
I was with a chap last week who developed an interest in stamps around 20 years ago. Started collecting, researching, etc.. all just for his own pleasure. He started to buy albums at stamp auctions and sold interesting duplicates on Ebay. This rapidly grew to the point where it enabled him to pay off his mortgage early, and retire early. His hobby is now doubling his pension.
If you need to sit down and think about a side hustle, develop a business plan and work out a strategy, that's more like a proper business. It formalises something that should be informal and can also take the fun out of it. And if it's not fun, you'll never succeed.
I certainly wouldn't be paying someone to advise me on what to do.

Yep, seeing too many businesses selling shovels in a gold rush. These shovels include marketing, business mentoring/coaching and social media marketing. All the big names making money in business and now offering mentoring seem to have made their money offering marketing or similar in some form or another to businesses. I'd only get advice from someone who's built a business selling an actual service or product that isn't a shovel in disguise. I hope that makes sense.Compare this with, for instance, Lisa Johnson who is now a business mentor. She started out by building a wedding planning business and made a real success of that first.

Side hustle can be as easy as buying into a duplicated business started by someone, like selling products or offering to offer a service 'no experience necessary'.
Very different to starting a hobby or doing something you enjoy/love/know inside out that you can make a bit of pocket money from.

One live / week generates 5/10 leads for my agency / consultancy / affiliate gig / ecommerce club. I do it slightly differently as my content doesn’t get huge views but one client can be £5k plus a month at agency level.
So is it TikTok or the agency work this generates?

I only get a few thou from TT directly, I don’t actually advertise on TT I just put myself out there and the people who join, book a zoom, join the agency etc do so from what they’ve seen.I’m live tonight on TT describing one of my latest projects and how it’s come about.
