I’m in Durham, NC. I mainly dabble with Lotus and TVR, but import all kinds of classics for clients across the USA through Robin Hood Motors.

Where are you located?

Ahh nice, glad to see there are a couple of you! I'll be moving to NC end of the year (current plan), most likely Cary/Apex area. Slugging my way down from Canada.

How is the car scene there, especially European stuff?

Great friend of mine is in Wilmington NC and there is a big BMW and Porsche scene plus track events. Big ex pat scene across NC too. It isn’t all pickups and large SUVs

The car scene in the Triangle is pretty active, with something for everyone. The big monthly Cars and Coffee was this past Saturday and attracted over 4000 cars!

There are several other events and a number of car shows for different groups, plenty of tuning shops, etc. There is a lack of reasonably priced bodyshops and upholstery shops. If you own a classic European car there is a real shortage of folks that will work on them.

The weather is wonderful of course, rarely a problem if you plan a drive or a show.
