Privacy glass, poll, yes/no option cost

Privacy tinted glass, aka gangster glass, behind B pillar etc.

So many vehicles the base and low spec vehicles have normal glass, go up a level or so and it's added automatically as if it somehow shows a better specification.

Will kick off saying hate it, have voted should be no cost option as best preference but tbh would if pushed pay not to have it.

Clear glass looks much more classy than tinted glass. IMO.

Net curtains that you can slide open or closed depending on the weather/need for privacy ftw

I was not fussed until my present car had it by default. Now it makes the rear seem more private and secure, without being darker inside.

I'm really not bothered, my 1 Series had it but I never had any shy celebs in the back of it!

But when my nephew became a dad he was really glad he had it so it is probably desirable for some.

It makes visibility while reversing even worse. For that alone, it should be consigned to the dustbin of history.

I think it looks great on big expensive estates and SUVs but looks odd on coupes and saloons. Not sure why

So not a binary "yes/no". Also needs to be on an appropriate colour and with some bright work so definitely not with black wheels (which are a no no for me anyway)

I think it looks OK on anything with back doors, but a bit pointless on Coupes!

I think it looks quite odd having windows that don't match, so it looks more coherent with clear glass. Also somehow less "tacky", as to me it is akin to black painted wheels.

We are all different though.

I'm in the hate it category, but what really annoys me is when manufacturers assume it'll be included and make the non-tinted version look awful.

Case in point being the Range Rover. My facelift L405 has clear glass. A large part of what is putting me off changing to the newer model is how awful the rear end looks with clear glass:
