A sad day for Mercian which is a name possibly lost on many modern cyclists but speaking as a sixty year old they always
were a quality product .

I never had one but I knew someone that did and it was a work of art. Always sad to see a small business that makes good stuff close down.

Just having a look at their website which is still visible as well as Ebay for some of their older stuff . Some lovely workmanship and specifications

That's a real shame, but if folk to buy want Chinese carbon at a knock down price I suppose it's inevitable.
Do hope the owners come out of it OK.
