Hi, my blower was on full blast all the time and even with engine off until the BSI knocked it off. So after a bit of digging it appears the resistor is a cheap place to start.

I’ve taken mine out, but the fitment doesn’t seem to match any parts online, and all sites say this type isn’t right for my car. Also the part number seems hard to find new, but there are loads with 1 number difference.

My part number is A43002900, made by Denso. The ones I can find are A43002100. They look the same but apparently it’s not for my car, but the ones that apparently are, have a totally different fitment style.

Has anyone else had this problem? Also I’m guessing this can’t be the first time it’s happened on this car unless that is an original one?

I had this problem and I took it to an Indy to solve but it was the module that was the problem.

Sorry I can’t be more help with the part number

Done similar earlier this year to my parents Dacia Duster on a 69 plate. However they didn't have the massive heat shield, it was just a case of soldering a new thermal fuse.
I'd recommend going to main dealer first and certainly avoid secondhand.
