Red heading Last Visit is always wrong

See screenshot. This has been happening to me for years but I've only just decided to report it. I have not looked at a particular thread for several hours. When I do the red marker is past some of the posts I have not seen. Therefore it is past my Last Visit.

So in screenshot the 2 posts above red line should be below. Hopefully that makes sense and you can replicate easily. Feel free to use my account to try it. I can post more examples if you need.

Only difference maybe for me is I have my settings to show me more than the standard amount of posts per page. Perhaps twice the amount can't remember now. Can't remember where I chose this setting as it was many many years ago. Is it even a currently available option? I think it's still turned on because if my laptop logs me out then the page numbers of a thread double. So if it was 50 pages logged in it becomes 100 logged out. Just a thought that this could perhaps be the cause.

Probably a related issue but I find when I'm browsing the "What's New" after a couple of pages or I don't know if it is time dependent (maybe half hour or so) then instead of showing all the new posts since I've last visited, it shows all the new posts since less than an hour ago.

So it's not last visit to thread it's last visit to forum whole?

If so that's sheet that is.
