Car rental and suitcases!

I need a hire car for 5 people and 4 suitcases in Croatia in August. Any ideas how I know what cars will carry 4 cases? Ie. Anyone know if a Peugeot 3008 would take 4 cases in the boot?

Depends on the cases. Carry on hand luggage probably, full sized check in bags no. The rental websites tell you how many average sizes the cars will take and Europcar say that the 3008 is a 2 case car. Showing the full size estate cars as taking four like the Skoda Superb

If it's just to and from that airport I'd fold one of the split rear seats down, swish the 2 rear people to the middle/one side and put the cases in the spare gap

I’d recommend a little van with windows for all that. You’ll never fit the cases in.

Thanks guys. I am leaning towards the mini van size! Don’t need the stress of worrying about whether I can squeeze it all in.

It’s for the road trip part of my Croatia tour between Dubrovnik & Split so needs to be comfortable for 4 days ish!
